BRAT - Mountain, Sea, Fire

 

BRAT is a Michelin Star restaurant in the heart of East London, offering Basque Country style cooking, which means, cooking over fire is the focal point, in every way. BRAT is owned and run by head chef Tomos Parry, originally from Anglesey in North Wales.

Tomos and the BRAT team approached me to create a branded honest documentary style film which showcases the history and heritage of Tomos’s style of cooking.

The film is shot on 16mm analog film, this was an early creative decision to help create a honest raw feeling.
